Eligible claims under WICA
The Work Injury Compensation Act is mandatory under employment act and it is claimable for injuries and occupational diseases that happen at work or as a result of work.
When you can claim
You can make a claim under the Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) if your employee have:

Been injured by an accident arising out of and in the course of employment. 
- 
Been injured while on an overseas assignment. 
- 
Contracted an Occupational Disease. 
- 
Contracted a disease from exposure to biological or chemical agents at work. 
What accidents does WICA cover
WICA covers accidents arising out of and in the course of employment. Unless there is evidence to prove otherwise, an accident in the course of employment is regarded as arising out of employment.

All travel claims must be submitted within 30 days from date of return to Singapore.
**Please note that the Travel Claim Portal is unable to accept medical claims submission electronically. Please mail your medical claims with original invoices to 51 Club Street, #03-00, Liberty House, Singapore 069428.

What should I do if I am involved in a motor accident in Malaysia?

If the conditions allows, remember to take note of the vehicle number of the other parties , do not engage in any private negotiation with the parties involved. 
- 
Make a report at the nearest local police station immediately. 
- 
If your vehicle is disabled and required to be tow back to Singapore , you may contact your agent / insurer's assistance hotline for support. 
- 
Once back in Singapore, file your claim as per standard claim procedure.
